Sports Information
The men's softball season is underway. Plan to come out to Dawson Field Monday evenings and cheer on the two Bethel teams. Look for the game times on the weekly events page.
All-Church Summer Growth Group
Bethel will be participating in an all-church summer Growth Group beginning in July, called Come & Follow. If you would like to be a part of a group meeting on Tuesday evenings, please sign up in the foyer. Tuesday’s prayer gathering will be from 6:30-7:00 with the Come & Follow group beginning at 7:00 pm. Come & Follow is an eight-week workbook and video series studying Mark's Gospel. You'll find stories of people who met Jesus. Some were willing to leave everything to follow Him. Others were willing to do anything to put Him on a cross. Jesus steps onto Mark's stage with amazing authority and annointed mission. He is the Christ, the Son of God. And he comes with a tranformational message: "The time has come. The kingdom of God is near. Repent and believe the good news." His invitation stands. Come. Follow. Fish.
Adopt An Area
For those who adopted an area around the church last fall, now is the time to get your area back in shape. Consider doing your work any time that works best for your schedule. If you have any questions as to what area you signed up for, please contact Vickie Berg at 608-757-1277.
Youth Summer Schedule
The Youth Summer Schedule is now available! Simply print the schedule from the Student Ministries page on our website. If you have any trouble, please contact Pastor Andrew.
Prayer for Janesville Schools
Since the fourth Saturday of the month falls during the Memorial Day weekend, there will be no prayer meeting May 26. The June prayer meeting will be June 30 (note date change); this will be the last prayer meeting for the schools until the fall.
Bethel Family Corner
Periodically, meals are needed to help those from the Bethel family who are recovering from a hospitalization or to provide a meal after a funeral. If you are willing to be put on a list to help with these needs, please call Vicki Pabst at 563-1044, email her at vlpabst@aol.com, or see the Bethel Meals Ministry Facebook page.
Worship Services Online
View our services online live by clicking the tab at the top of the page. You can see our 8:00 am Traditional service, and our 9:30 and 11:00 am Contemporary services while they're happening, or when you need it! Stay connected with Bethel anytime!
Rock Country Dairy Breakfast
The Rock County Dairy Breakfast will be held on Saturday, June 2 from 6:30-11:00 am at Larson Acres, Don & Joanne’s property at 18218 W. State Road 59 in Evansville (SW of Evansville on the curve of 59 and 104). See the poster on the bulletin board outside Pastor Tim’s office for cost and menu information.
Discover Bethel Class
Sunday, May 20, the pastors are offering the Discover Bethel Membership Class from 4-7 pm. Discover Bethel acquaints you with what Bethel believes and how our church is set up. It's a good time to ask questions, too, to then be able to make a decision to officially join Bethel as a member. Members can vote, teach Sunday School, and hold elected positions in the church. Dinner is included; childcare is available if needed. Mark your calendars and sign up in the foyer, see Pastor Kalb, or call the church office (754-8711) to reserve your spot.
Parking Lot Request
As a growing church, Bethel must consider the number of people who attend our services who have physical restrictions. If you do not have a handicapped sticker/license plate, please do not park in the handicapped spaces. If you have a sticker but don’t necessarily need to park in the marked spaces, or if you have a spouse who can drop you off at the door and park the vehicle in a regular space, this will open up those spaces for others who may need them more. Thank you for your consideration.
